I finally hung the stained glass piece she gave me for my birthday (in July) and now I'm sitting here admiring it's loveliness. She's so damn talented!

Krista...You know that checking your blog is the highlight of my day and I like to believe that you only post things for my eyes to see, but as beautiful as the piece Lu made for you is, I'm sick of being disappointed because you haven't posted anything in forever! You think I could have fit another thought into that run-on sentence?!?! BTW...I love the slate necklace!
Sandra Cisneros is most famous for writing "The House on Mango Street." But I am even more partial to her lush, heartbreaking poetry. And her funny (and completely random) website is definitely worth a peek.
What We're Digging This Week:
Andrew Bush's photo series "Driving While Standing Still" is a rich, beautiful, strange treat
